About Registration
                              ------------------

    Slimmer is a shareware program. Please use it freely for 30 days. If
    you find Slimmer useful, please send in your registration. You can 
    select "Register" from the Slimmer main menu to see the advantages of
    registration, and can then print a registration form on your printer.
    
    The cost of registration is $25 within the USA. Notification of major
    upgrades is provided. Phone and on-line Compuserve (CIS) support via
    E-Mail are provided. The (unlimited use) CALTAB database editor 
    utility is provided to all registered users and enables them to 
    customize the database. If you are an unregistered user, you can use 
    CALTAB for a 30 - day trial period during which time you may modify 
    the database and customize the food table names. If you wish to 
    register Slimmer after your 30-day trial period, please send a 
    registration form and your check for $25 to me. You can print the 
    form by selecting the REGISTER option from Slimmer's main menu.
    

    CIS ONLINE REGISTRATION:

    For CIS users, On-Line registration is available via GO SWREG. 
    Slimmer's ID is #186. The same credit card info that is already on 
    file for you is used. I'll mail out a 3-1/2" 720k disk to you within
    24 hours. If you prefer the 5-1/2" size, please E-Mail me a message
    (76276,564) indicating you preference of 360k or 1.2m. 
    
    For those CIS users that want to get more rapid registration, the 
    following procedure can be used:
      1. Use GO SWREG to register Slimmer OnLine.
      2. E-Mail a message to me (George Summers, 76276,564) that you have
         registered Slimmer online and that you request instant 
         registration. PLEASE TELL ME THE DATE & SIZE OF YOUR CT.EXE FILE. 
      3. After I receive notification from CIS that you have registered
         On-Line, I will upload a small binary file (less than 40k bytes) 
         to you via E-mail that contains the registration files. This will 
         be IN LIEU of a disk mailed to you. You may then download the file,
         extract & copy it into your Slimmer subdirectory and have a 
         fully functional registered copy.
